Lady Bird Lake and the Lady Bird Lake Hike and Bike Trail. Formerly known as Town Lake, the lake was renamed for the former First Lady Johnson (wife of LBJ) She was instrumental in Austin's converting the Colorado River into this beautiful urban park. The new W Hotel is under construction at right.
