The Navajo Bridge crosses Colorado River over the Marble Canyon. It is the bridge crossing th river in almost 600 miles / 1 000 km. Construction began in 1927 and became part of the US Road 89A. A similar yet wider arche was build on 1995 to accomodate trafic and improve security.
